Overhanging tree

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 12:52, Wed 6 September 2023

Sent to Stockport Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4964943.

Two large trees are in the carpark of the library off Beech Avenue and Queens road. They are very large and cause issues for residents with bird droppings affecting residents parked cars. They also cause issues in winter with dropped leaves making the footpath slippery - especially when icy/cold/wet. Could the trees be lopped to reduce some of the branches and therefore reduce the bird and leaves dropping? There is also concern that the height of these trees could cause issues and damage to local houses in high winds.
