Potholes and bad road surface

This section of highway is on the exit of Rutherford rd and is an absolute disgrace! It has been like it for years and since recent roadworks there I assumed it would be resurfaced but what a surprise....no it's been left to cause even more damage to motorists suspension and not only that its dangerous due to "jarring" your steering as you drive over it possibly forcing car onto other side of carriageway. This needs fixing NOW! Sometimes i wonder if the Highway Authority are working hand in hand with KwikFit etc to ensure they have a steady flow of customers due to the CRAP condition of our roads! Remind me why do we pay for road tax again? Silly me i thought a % was to maintain roads, well in 30+ years of driving I've never seen such ridiculously poor road surfaces literally everywhere!
