Good morning
This is the 2nd time I’m now having to complain about the alleyways in between The Avenue, Wickham Chase, Langley Way, being overgrown with stinging nettles and brambles/weeds.
The number of kids that are being stung daily by stinging nettles in some cases being 2 and 3 feet high is ridiculous. Not to mention the overgrown pathways are leading to rats being more present.
I complained months ago and the problem was sorted and yet they’ve been allowed to grow back unchecked.
The pathways are overgrown and considering we pay a service for their maintenance and upkeep, this is not happening.
Please make this a regular service over the summer months in terms of cutting back or even eradicating the weeds and stinging nettles growing in these alleyways. They are no very wide in the first instance so having to “dodge” being stung by overgrown weeds is simply not acceptable.
Kind regards Wickham Chase resident Darryl Ramsay
