Not enough room to turn from Anstey Lane to Larchmont Road - bus lane is too long

Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4962789.
The new bus lane on Anstey Lane going towards the centre of town meet the intersections of Jean Drive and Larchmont Road. The solid white line that cars cannot cross goes too far and it is not possible to turn left onto Larchmont Road unless you are in a fighter jet. The solid white line needs to be moved back and replaced with a broken white line to give vehicles time and distance to move over to the left lane before turning left. The way it currently looks, cars have to make an L shaped right turn like a fighter jet which is not mathematically or physically easy to do.
On an unrelated note, why is the bus lane "at all times'? Do you think we are in central London here? At 3am you think the bus lane is needed? Or is this just a cash cow for you guys at the council? Please, do tell why you need this to be a bus lane "at all times". This is Leicester, not London. Traffic was never a problem on this road so you have created a solution to a problem that did not exist and have managed to make it worse.
I am sending this same text and sending it to Leicester Council, Leicestershire Police, The Highways Agency and to my local MP so that if there is an accident or fatality on this section of road, which there will inevitably be, it can be noted that this was raised to all relevant bodies. There was nothing more I could do.

This is a danger to road users - it must be repainted properly to avoid a collision between a bus and car.
