Nuisance lighting intrusive in my home

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4943078.

The new street lights are much brighter than before and it now shines directly into my home. It is bright enough to be intrusive and a nuisance. I request that a shield is fitted to direct the light down and block some of the sideways light pollution that makes it shine directly into my home on the 1st floor.

  • New street lights were fitted and they are much brighter. While this is great for safety in the street they re now intrusive and cause a signifincant nuisance to flats in the immediate vicinity.
