Removal of bins along the promenade.

Reported via Android in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category by Sam Garnett at 23:06, Mon 28 August 2023

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4934960.

Bins and benches were removed a couple of months ago... why... who knows. The benches have been replaced but only 1 bin has been put back. There is a huge problem with rubbish in this area already so removing bins is ludicrous. Can anyone explain the reasoning behind this?

Updates

  • These bins still have not been replaced despite a phone call from someone who was going to visit to see where they used to be sited. People are putting their rubbish where ever there is space. Why were these bins removed in the first place.
