Basal Growth

Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 10:59, Thursday 24 August 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4922875.

The basal growth is a continual problem never seen any other trees as bad as in our road.(has to be seen to understand that you cannot see out or into Flint Close clearly when driving). it was reported some time ago around June and nothing has been done despite seeing workmen in the area and thinking these will be done soon. Needs a chain saw to get rid of the basal growth.

  • These trees should be cut right back properly. Never seen any other trees with this much basal growth. Perhaps a chain saw on the basal growth might be the answer. Maybe my photos don’t show the severity of them & how bad they are and no clear vision to see out or to go into Flint close from Lynne close.
