Overgrown verge - with grass seed heads, hazzard for dog walkers

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 17:18, Thu 17 August 2023

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4902611.

Overgrown verge - with grass seed heads, hazzard for dog walkers as these types of grass seed heads can get embedded, it is overgrowing the pathway and leading to the need to walk in the road to avoid it as path become to thin now. Other kerbsides in the area also suffering with extensive weed growth due to lack of maintenance.

Updates

  • Council fobbed me off that doesn't meet a level where they feel maintenance necessary, despite fact tall grass and nettles are at a height and width that the path width is narrowed. Everyone is walking in the road as a result.
