Parking in pavements
Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 14:18, Thu 17 August 2023
Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4901920.
All the houses on Church Lane have driveways some big enough for two or three cars but owners choose to park on the paths making it difficult for prams and mobility scooters

I dont see why cars should be able to park on the pavements when they all have drives,it's difficult for prams and mobility scooters to get past, to be able to see if the road is clear to cross you have to stand out in the road and some cyclists come up onto the pavements rather than have to cycle past the cars. I feel the car owners are just too lazy to park on their own drives

There's been no change in the problem. The area is a 20mph zone but not many drivers adhere to the speed limit. One motorcyclist in particular stops at the bottom of Holmwood avenue, sits revving the bike before hurtling down Church lane. The council is wasting money on speed calming initiatives no one gives a damn about them.
