Grass cutting or lack of

On hebden avenue there is some green grassy communal areas at the end of the culdesacs. On the side of my house, 218, there is a steep grassy bank. The top is cut with a "sit down" lawnmower but the bank needs cut with a strimmer. The bank has not been cut for a few months now, therefore this is now 2-3foot high, full of weeds and is making the area very untidy. this is now an eyesore and encouraging people to chuck rubbish down the bank. The last time this was cutthey cut ober the too of rubbish including a glass bottle that they had shattered with the strimming and left pieces of glass lying. Animals and children play/ walk on the bank, this was dangerous and I had to clear up to prevent an accident. As a council tax payer I expect the communal areas which the council are responsible for to be maintained and for the whole bank to be cut not part of it and leave the other part up to 3 foot high! A few years ago I raised this as an issue, however the current state is disgraceful. I would also expect the pavements to be maintained so the weeds are controlled not like last year when these qere 2 foot high making the area horrible and forcing people to walk on the road which us unsafe. please confirm your plans for the maintenance of these communal areas and confirm that your team will remove glass and plastic bottles rather than mowing over and breaking them! thanks
