Dangerous Drain Cover
Reported in the Road or pavement defect category anonymously at 10:08, Mon 16 June 2014
Sent to Tower Hamlets 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 489078.
There is an uneven and very large drain cover as we leave our office on Blackwall Way. It gets very slippery when it rains and I actually slipped and injured myself leaving the office 6 weeks ago. I am still recovering from a broken finger and damaged knee.

Thames Water has not addressed the problems with this cover and in fact it is now worse due to the results of Cross Rail works around it. Someone needs to replace it before there is another accident.

There has been no contact from Thames Water so either the council haven't been following up with them or Thames Water are being irresponsible

Thames Water still haven't fixed this drain cover. I am still suffering with an injury from the fall so I am considering taking legal action against them
