Investigating
Unusable Footpath

Residents can no longer walk safely on the footpath that goes from Wood Lane to the cemetery on Stoke Doyle Road. The path is over grown, has subsided in places and the only option is to walk on the road. This is unsafe because the speed limit is 60 mph on a narrow road. I have on a number occasions nearly had a car hit me and it is just a matter of time before there is a fatal accident. The deterioration of the footpath has been reported numerous times over the past 10 years and still nothing has been done. It is the only footpath in to Oundle that is in such an unsafe condition. How do we get the council to take this seriously before there is a fatal accident?
