Trading on the highway

Reported via desktop in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 18:01, Sun 13 August 2023

Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4887401.

Trading of caravans, and fixin them up, motorhomes boats and trailers is taking place in Waterside Road. Some of them caravans may be being rented to homeless or migrant workers. Law abidin people are having to put up with this and have been forced to do so now for months. The road has become dangerous an stinks ! It's reduced to one lane with no pedestrian footway an mobility scooter users have to use the main road all so that this business practice can take place. It is being turned into a oribul dumping ground for vehicles and human waste and other dangerous substances with public health hazards. The caravans are renovated and worked on in the road. Rubbish such as carpets and batteries being left behind for others to clear up. The road stinks like sewer. Council Taxpayers are having to pick up the tab for the area for continuous removal of waste an continuously having to notify the Authorities due to feeling intimidated. All of this anti-social behaviour has been allowed by the Local Authority and Police for months so that an unauthorised business can take place for profit an other taxpayers are paying for it ! Torbay Council and Police. Do your Duty and what you are well paid for by Council Taxpayers and deal with this it's been two months now !
