Parking on the pavement

I have to turn right at this junction from Roberts Road onto South Street. Cars and vans are always parked on the pavement outside the Kite Surfing shop and Chinese Takeaway on South Street. This totally impairs my vision of cars coming around the bend. They also seem unaware that there is a junction where Roberts Road is and I have had many near misses. South Street has double yellow lines, so I am not sure whether cars should be parking on the pavement outside these shops but they are there just about all day every day. I have more photos. This one shows the view of the road when turning right.

  • This problem hasn't been fixed which surprises me as it involves dangerous and illegal parking.

  • It has not been fixed, it is still an incredibly dangerous situation but I expect nothing but I expect nothing else from our useless council.
