Chock Lane Public Signposted Footpath is VERY overgrown making it difficult for people to use and they are walking in the road instead

Reported via desktop anonymously at 09:09, Sat 12 August 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4884196.

This footpath is an important route to school for parents and children accessing the primary school at the bottom of the road and there is no other pavement on this road which is very busy with speeding traffic. The Council stopped maintaining this path several years ago and residents have been doing their best to maintain it but this is not acceptable and the Council needs to add this footpath back onto its maintenance rota - especially as there is a council signpost encouraging people to use it! It has become a dark and unpleasant place to walk down and is attracting local drug deals and fly tipping.
