Damaged Kerbs

The kerbs along side number 78 Hedge End Road, Andover are broken and damaged. They are no longer in place where they should be.

  • The Highways Agency have inspected the problem and agreed that they need to be fixed. They have spray painted the kerbs that they feel need fixing but have not yet undertaken any works.

    They suspect that the problem has been caused by the change in the bus route and the subsequent buses mounting the kerbs. The Highways Agency cannot change the route or widen the road but are contemplating putting short wooden posts into the verge to prevent the buses from mounting the kerbs
