Hello,
I think there has been a mistake here, this ticket has been closed for the second time as fixed, and the leaves are still in the drains.
Someone from the council came round to look on Saturday 5th August. I spoke to the man and he said the drains would need to be emptied where the leaves are inside them, and the drains are blocked.
Please can the drains be cleared, otherwise I will need to escalate this further where this is now the 3rd request?
Kind Regards

Mon 21/08/2023 18:32 Please change this from fixed - as mentioned when the crew arrived they only cleared 2 of the 8 drains so the other 6 drains need to be emptied. I did already report this on Friday as per the extract below so I am at a loss as to why this has been changed to fixed, this is extremely frustrating, please can the original request be carried out as the drains with most the leaves in are still there and blocked so we are no further forward. This will need to be escalated if not resolved in a timely manner.

Thank you for your enquiry, the gullies were re-inspected and were found to be operational and able to cope with yesterday's rain. According to the government website, the location is a low risk flood area - therefore the the gullies will be cleansed under the cyclical cleansing schedule for the Bickley ward - more information can be found on the Bromley website - Flooding on roads – This report will now be closed.

Hello,
Please can someone send me details of who I can escalate this to please as this is not acceptable?
A few Saturdays ago, when the council were here, I was advised the drains will need to be emptied. The council then arranged to clear 2 of the 8 drains on the close (the ones with the least leaves in).
When the contractor turned up here, they were at a loss why they were not clearing out the drains with all the leaves in so the other 6.
If they were inspected then someone would see how full they are, and if they are not dealt with then I can see accidents happening in winter, as the rain water will be on the surface and freeze, and people could slip or fall on the ice.
These drains are solidly full with leaves so this needs to be looked at as a prioirty, and I wish to escalate this further please.
Kind Regards

Emailed received CSC inbox 23/10 08:28 The gullies have been emptied, however one of the covers has been left proud so is a health and safety issue as someone could easily trip where this is sticking up and not flat. The cover is the on your left as you drive into the close and is the second drain cover. Could you please get this put back flat asap, as anyone could trip up this, it is an accident waiting to happen.
