Further to issue reported previously (4712556), still flooding issues caused by defective drain opposite occupation road junction.

As previously stated this does not appear to be a blocked gully, rather defective/blocked drain or outfall ditch that the gully is connected to.

Please stop closing issues without resolving them.

  • Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to a third party) - As this is a private matter, we have contacted the land owner asking them to resolve this matter on 16/08/23. This could take up to 28 days but we hope it will be resolved sooner. Please be assured that we will notify you once checks have been made.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - The site was visited by the community steward with our drainage team who jetted the drain into the ditch on Occupation Road. This was witnessed by the adjacent land owner who is now arranging for this ditch to be cleared in approximately time 2 weeks.
