Sent to Aylesbury Vale District Council 2 minutes later
Tree is an ash which looks very sick, The roots are causing the public pavement to lift and crack, its about 8" higher than it should be and will soon cause serious damage and possible injury to children or older people. Many have complained about the trees being way too big and potentially dangerous this one is beyond help and really needs to come down quickly.

Well I have spoken to a man who does such work.
The problem seems to be it is right on the edge of a school property, the path that is affected is a public path which runs alongside the school. The school does not want to pay and neither do the council apparently. The Ash tree is diseased and dangerous, the path is now too difficult for prams and trolleys. It is also now overgrown with weeds and practically impossible to use the path at all. At night there is no lighting. The path is about 150 metres long.

The council refuse to accept the footpath is their problem although locals say it is a council maintained footpath and the school won't do anything about the tree's that affect the path and neighbouring properties.
Apparently an argument has been going on for 2 yrs according to the neighbours. One neighbour had his fence broken by some contractors a few months ago and the school refuse to settle up. The school did deal with a couple of tree's that affected no one but the school though. The head of the school seems to be the problem from what I have been told.

The problem seems to be that the council does not like the public to have value for money and therefore does not do a good job of anything but claiming expenses and paying too high a price for work it has done by too many poor private contractors.

No one is interested in what surrounding residents think. There are other problems with the attitude of this school and parking too.
