Reported in the Parks/landscapes category by Tony Edwards at 22:06, Wed 4 June 2014
Sent to Wigan Borough Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 483003.
Atherleigh area known as the (Green Hill) on Leigh Road opposite Old Hall Mill lane. The paved area round the recreation area that is badly overgrown and in need of the pathway clearing with broken pavings replaced. May I suggest that you use the people currently serving community service to make this area once again a nice place to walk with there family. I would also like to bring to your attention that the hill itself has now not been cut last year or this year after having it maintained in previous years four times a year, this hill area is a popular walking and communal area for local people when kept properly maintained as in previous years.

URGENT ATTENTION REQUIRED.
I reported in 2014 with regard to the poor state of the footpath, see report below (The pathways are now in a diabolical condition and urgently need attention as I reported in 2014.(Reported in the Parks/landscapes category by Tony Edwards at 22:06, Wed 4 June 2014).
To date 10/06/2016 nothing has been done to resolve this matter, it can only be a matter of time before someone is injured and makes a claim for compensation.
I wonder how long we have to wait for this issue to be dealt with.
