Sent to Stockport Borough Council 1 hour, 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 4818478.

Where's the roundabout that was on the original plans? Thought new road was built in the interests of keeping traffic moving not stopping it every 45 seconds. Look at the jams going back to the forgotten underpass at Brookside GC. Ah well, planners knew best but I did point this out at pre-planning but was ignored.

  • Underpass still not built at Brookside Garden Centre. Roundabout still not built at A6 junction with relief road. Considering its about keeping traffic moving its doing a pretty poor job!

  • Traffic snarls up for most of the day just like I said it would when I attended the pre-planning meetings. You won't fix the problem until you build what was on the original plans. Underpass at Brookside and roundabout at the end onto A6

  • Nothing has changed. Traffic lights at Brookside Garden Centre where there's supposed to be an underpass. Traffic is far worse than in July, that was really bad then. Underpass as per plans will sort it
