Investigating
PROW almost completely impassible
Reported via desktop in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 17:15, Sat 22 July 2023
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4814835.
There is an old gateway here and the hedgerows either side and brambles have almost completely engulfed it. I can only just squeeze though and it's up to 2m or more height. Needs clearing right back with some machine, it's too dense and woody growth to cut back at ground level. Please ask the landowner to clear this. The PROW was diverted to this route for the construction of the marina and they have not mown or kept it clear ever since. In stark comparison they mow 2m wide pathways through the same site for their own use and mow these regularly - It's not like they haven't got the equipment or resources to maintain the route of the PROW the same way.
Thank you

There's been no clearing work yet and the brambles are 6-7 foot tall. Please get the owner to clear the PROW. It's clear that the owner is Dunchurch Pools Marina

This is now ridiculously overgrown with 6 foot high nettles and brambles. The landowner mows paths around his land but seems to be purposefully letting the line of the designated PROW overgrow. Please can something be done
