Missing believed scrapped Bycycle stands
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:52, Thu 29 May 2014
Sent to Plymouth City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 479475.
In Market Avenue, November 2013, PCC/Amey/Traffic decided to remove the cycle stands outside Computerbase and said they were relocating them but as yet have not said where. Current enquiry 'closed' when awaiting answer, so PUBLICALLY ask where are they?

There has been no further response about this, but it has been included as a parking place in the new 2014/2015 PCC Cycle parking map (which also lists 14 more places that you cannot park a cycle, including PCC's own offices in Armarda way blocked off for the past 8 years.

Silence - NADA, not a sausage, although when enquiring as to the status of the missing bycyle stands, they PTB had no record of the initial enquiry as it had been CLOSED without resolution 'as that is how the system works'. Come on PCC/AMEY - its in your documentation that they are there - so where are they?

Still silence from PCC, the Traffic Department, even though there has been a reprint of the cycling map with the cycle stands clearly marked as still being there. The PCC numbty's concider cycling as of no note, as cars are charged per 20 minutes to park, and still have an ilegal camera car charging at illegal speeds through the area, ignoring pedestrians on crossings, bus stops, and illegally parked contractors vans filling taxi ranks.

PCC are still silent as to the missing cycle loops, nor has the council changed their minds as to the unsafe 'blockwork' road surface without the pedestrian crossing to the market - have seen several twisted ankles and tipped mobility scooters (and the local PCC staff just snigger and do not help). In 8 weeks it will be 1 year since their dissappearence.

Pointless asking Plymouth - they close their own requests for information, remove that which is not theirs, replace cobbles to break ankles, remove crossings for unsafe untested 'lets see' experiments that then become the norm. 'Plymouth is NOT cycle friendly' - even their literature is inaccurate, pleasing the elite as a jobsworth exercise.
