Very large pothole

This pothole is getting progressively worse and is a hazard to both vehicles and pedestrians alike. The fact that we continually have articulated lorries being sent this way by their satnavs only exacerbates the problem. There was a 7.5 ton limit on Reservoir Lane at one point but the signs have disappeared.

  • Is it also possible to repair the other potholes that are within 5 yards of this one at the same time? The road surface along the length of Reservoir Lane is a disgrace.

  • This pothole was marked a while ago but not repaired. My friend damaged her wheel in it and has had a costly repair to the wheel itself plus a new tyre. She is considering seeking compensation from the council.
