Dumped shopping trolley
Reported via mobile anonymously at 23:54, Wed 5 July 2023
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4754910.
A supermarket shopping trolley has been dumped in our street. It belongs to FarmFoods. FarmFoods have twice been contacted to collect but show no interest in collecting from Filton now that their Bedminster store has closed. The trolley is being shoved around the street and causing an obstruction. Currently placed in the lane between 20 and 21 Willada Close. BS3 5NG. Could this be treated as fly tipping? Could it be removed for recycling please as FarmFoods have not been at all helpful.

Despite seeing a Council mesh-sided collection vehicle enter the street this week, it made a quick exit and never collected the abandoned supermarket shopping trolly... I'm not sure if that was what it was looking for!

3rd AUG 2023 The dumped shopping Trolly remains pushed into the street end of the lane, off the pavement, between house numbers 20 and 21. Neither the council or FarmFoods are at all interested in collecting the trolly.

This dumped shopping trolly is still there, blocking the land. The retail company have absolutely no intention of collecting it since the Bedminster store closed.

No one is interested in removing this abandoned shopping trolly from the street, not the supermarket it belongs to or the council. It remains at the site it was first reported.
