The trees outside Hermes House, 82 Beckenham Road, BR3 4RN, on Council land, are overhanging well beyond the boundary with Hermes House marked by the iron railings and the front steps wall as seen in the photos. The branches are touching the building's windows and in some case blocking the windows completely. Also the trees are so tall that they drop large quantities of debris onto the building roof, blocking gutters and downpipes, causing major water overflow issues. Only one of these trees, out of 4 TREES, was dealt with in February 2023, following our original report in November 2022. However the other 3 TREES still require cutting back and reducing in height. It is the council's duty of care to deal with these trees appropriately to prevent them from affecting the building and its residents.
