This tree is either dead or deseased

Reported via iOS in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 16:37, Sat 1 July 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4738817.

The tree in the photograph has a number of dead branches on it one of which fell into my garden. I consider this tree to be dangerous not only to me in my garden but also to people walking on the grass with dogs in Pembroke Park. In my opinion this tree should be felled!

  • Still nothing has been done about this other than Bromley Council (see below)

“Thank you for your comments. The enquiry has been closed down in error and the contractor is in hand to return to grind out stumps so that the tree's pits can be replanted before the end of the planting season which is the end of March. Please note we are planting trees batch by batch for each Ward and tree planting for this ward has not started yet.” They state that tree planting for this ward has not started yet but at least two new trees have been planted in my road in the last few days, yet I am STILL left with a dead tree stump outside of my house! I find this totally unacceptable!

  • Just providing the latest photo of the tree. This tree is located just outside of my fence in Pembroke Park. As you can see there are a number of dead branches on the tree. It is located to the rear of 33 Beechfield Road BR13BT, we have never seen any contractors either down our side alley or in the park itself viewing the tree. Thank You
