A question for Enfield Council

Reported via Android in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 13:59, Wed 28 June 2023

Sent to Enfield Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4727148.

Can Enfield council tell me why our grass is being constantly cut when not needed? It is 1.37pm on 28th June and it was last cut 6 days ago on June 22nd?.....it doesn't need cutting and rarely does, the only reason I can see is the guy lives in the road and he can have a longer lunch break each time. All this constant unnecessary mowing creates is more litter that can not be picked up as he just drives over it. If he has so much time as to be mowing the same patch of grass twice within a week at least give him a picker and black sack! Maybe he can be deployed in other parts of the borough.....for example in Masefield Crescent N14 where my Mother lives there is a very large oval patch of grass used by every one in the crescent, this doesn't get cut for months and is often over 2 feet high!!!
