Greenleas Park - tree been cut down by resident

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 11:21, Wed 28 June 2023

Sent to Brighton and Hove City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4726309.

Someone has taken it upon themselves to cut down a tree where the base is actually in Greenleas. Its about the 3rd house down from the corner on the East side of the park. Where the houses/Bungalows are. I noticed them chopping it down yesterday (Tuesday) whilst walking my dog, what a disgrace the birds are nesting in it & they have young. B...dy prople

Updates

  • No. Isn't any one bothered that this resident has taken it into his hands to have this tree cut down by an odd job person - Grott Jobs - not a tree surgeon. This tree was actually in Greenleas Park and filled with birds. I thought we had to have council permission to cut down any trees. This needs taken up upon as seen in photo hardly a few branches
