Overgrown hedges causing hazard with brambles and poor visibilty

Reported via desktop in the Veg Obstructed: Hway Vis category anonymously at 21:33, Tue 27 June 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Isle of Wight Council 10 hours, 59 minutes later. Council ref: 16244636.

The overgrown hedges of properties 37 & 38 Woodvale Rd. are causing a hazard with brambles hanging over pavements and at 36, Woodvale Rd. the overgrown hedge is causing poor visibility when entering / exiting Jordan Close and overgrowing the double yellow lines and obliterating them - this is a recurrent problem occurring every year

  • I note that the hedge at 36 Woodvale Rd has been recently cut but it has not corrected the problems of poor visibility when entering and leaving Jordan Close nor has it corrected the problem of overgrowing the double yellow lines.
