Dead branch
Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 19:22, Tuesday 27 June 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4724157.
A large, dead branch fell from the tree outside my house, 100, and narrowly missed a woman and her young daughter. The tree is very large, and I would suggest needs urgent checking and pollarding.

Nothing has been done to this tree. Last week the tree on the opposite side of the road was pollarded - the tree outside 98/100 is now in desperate need of cutting back as pedestrians have to avoid the lowest branches.

Thank you for the comment, appropriate works have been taken to stop any health and safety issues occurring, the tree has no further works raised and will not be reduced. As per the Tree Management Strategy, Bromley Council does not reduce trees because they are large, Please reference this strategy in the future for further information.
