Illegally parked cars are highly dangerous

Would it be possible to re-employ the crossing guard by Nevill Road school entrance when the children are walking to and from school? With all the crossing points blocked by cars I have seen near misses and I fear it is only a matter of time before a child is hurt, maybe seriously. Much fewer people parked illegally when there was a crossing guard and it was much safer. I have spoken to the Headteachers of both schools who have stated that they are happy to advertise the position in their newsletters if that would help.
