Epicormic growth blocking pavement and road

Reported via desktop in the Growth from base of tree category anonymously at 11:46, Mon 26 June 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4716667.

The trees and hedging along Kellaway, near Tesco need cutting back. Again this year the pavement is almost blocked and, in the road, cyclists have to cycle out from the kerb to avoid the growth at the base of the trees. It also blocks the view of oncoming traffic when crossing the road. When the brambles grow out from the hedge there's a risk of pedestrians' faces and eyes being injured. We should be encouraging walking, not making it unsafe.
