Migratory toad sign facing the wrong way

Reported via mobile in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 15:07, Tue 20 June 2023

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4695695.

Thankyou for recently replacing this sign. It however is facing the wrong way and when open, informs drivers they have just left the section of road where toad migration occurs. Drivers need to be made aware that they are entering the migration stretch of road so they can be alert to the risk of the hazards associated with the toads on the road. Please can you turn it 180 degrees so that drivers coming from Moyles court and heading towards Ringwood are alerted to the risks I.e. toads in the road. Also will alert them to when volunteers on the official Froglife toad patrol (Jan- Apr/May) are patrolling to pick up the toads. I will be the new patrol manager from the end of this year so trying to keep everyone on the road as safe as possible when the patrol operates. The sign is currently shut as the migration season this year has finished. Thankyou
