Investigating
Fence
Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category by Northamptonshire Highways at 11:13, Mon 19 June 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways 6 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 4689337.
No 31 garden backs onto the A413 (old A43). The fence at the rear of the garden is being pushed over by the earth behind it that is council owned.
I have inspected behind the fence and found the earth to be high up against the wooden fence. The fence itself is buckling from the pressure.
I have tried to move some of the soil myself to see what it is, however this a large task that shouldn’t be happening. The photo shown of the fence from the road side is following my attempt to move some of the soil. I hope you’ll be able to help with resolving this issue and would welcome a surveyor to inspect the area.
