Tree branches have snapped and also branches are pushing against and damaging private property fence.

I am the Development Manager at Parkview Lodge and one of my residents has informed me of damage to the fence of the private property which is also damaging residents plants in their communal garden caused by a tree in Kelsey Park that backs on to it. The branches are also pushing through the fence. I have also bee informed by a resident that the branches of the tree have snapped and is very dangerous to the public as it hangs over a park bench. please see photos attached.

The Catalpa by the perimeter fence has a low branch on the right hand side with a large split, you can see daylight through it.

Yes, the tree officer inspected this tree and instructed the contractor to shorten this limb. This enquiry and work is still with the contractor to complete. Thank you for your patience.
