Council mowing team leaving broken bottles after mowing grass

The mowing team seem not to take care to avoid mowing over glass bottles when cutting the grass in the park, tonight there were broken bottles by the kid's playground where many children were playing and many dog owners were walking their dogs. I attempted to pick up the glass and dispose of responsibly (see photo) but I cut my hand on a shard of glass in the process, so had to stop and seek first aid, so I couldn’t finish collecting the broken glass. Maybe the mowing team could take a bit more responsibility for their work, they do an excellent job in maintaining the park, but leave hidden dangers behind after they have done their work. Surely they can look out for debris in their working area whilst in control of their machinery !
