Abandoned works

Reported via Android in the Current Roadworks - live information category anonymously at 08:13, Tue 13 June 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4664652.

It's been a week now and yet again we have another abandoned trench dug up, this is causing complete grid lock through town and needs to be sorted out what the contactor is actually doing, digging up the road in such a crucial area normal functionality should be returned as soon as possible and never left so please kick who ever dug this up, up the butt and get this sorted out, and give a sensable reply with some kind of positive solution rather than this has been forwarded on

  • Also can I note the traffic lights could be sequenced alot better as in, they are two way rather than four way, so they either hold up woodstock road or Oxford road, bridge Street and west end together, this would allow the other three lanes to be able to use the round abouts as per normal as there is no need for holding these up one by one, they only need to hold up traffic to allow traffic coming down woodstock road to pass if that makes sense, 4 way lights are complete over kill as the works are not effecting the round abouts
