Needs to be 1 way all the way down the street

Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 10:22, Mon 12 June 2023

Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4659984.

Every day there are people arguing and hooting horns all throughout the day and night - traffic meets here and there is nowhere to pass. People go way over the speed limit and use it as a cut through from Melton road to Catherine street or vice versa. People live in the street and have to put up with traffic non stop and shouting and horns - street also used as a car park for Melton road shops, local temples, schools and over night parking for vans and works vehicles - not a good environment for the many children and elderly on the street, resident parking and 20 mph speed limit needs to be introduced

  • Needs to be 1 way all the way down and resident only parking Not ok for us all to be polluted by vehicles using as a cut through - it’s a residential street The street is used for overflow parking for events at surrounding halls and shops on Melton road

  • Still no response - all streets round here have daily fly tipping, untaxed cars, rubbish, illegal parking, unlicensed skips and building materials left in the road all week. Traffic issues with people shouting, beeping and abusing each other but no one cares. Council not interested. Police not interested
