The order for these tree works has been raised with the Council’s contractor and remains outstanding within their planned schedule of works. We will continue to liaise with our contractor until the works are completed. The works may take several months to complete. Thank you for your patience.

The tree officer inspected the trees in this road at the time of the enquiry and works were raised in accordance with our tree management policy which is found at https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ trees for the tree or trees in this road. Contractors may or may not complete the works on the tree or trees in the same day or week. Please note Bromley will only undertake works to a tree for an identified health & safety or highway obstruction issue. Please note that as outlined in our Tree Management Strategy Tree management strategy - Foreword - Tree management strategy - 2023 to 2027 (bromley.gov.uk)
The Council will not prune trees in relation to the following: • Branches overhanging properties • Where a tree is thought be overly large • Interference with satellite, TV or other media reception • Branches and/or limbs in physical contact with telephone wires • Excessive leaf fall • Fruit fall • Problems associated with pollen • Excreta caused by insects or birds • Obstruction of view • Lack of light. The situation will be reviewed cyclically as part of our programme of tree condition surveys and safety inspections.
