One way street

Reported via desktop in the Road Marking category anonymously at 15:23, Fri 9 June 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4651946.

Reported White Hart road many times as a one way street being used both ways and an accident waiting to happen, well guess what!, serious accident two weeks ago. Since then I approached a driver who turned left into this road from the High Street, he stated he didnt know until it was too late, maybe a sign in the High street saying NO LEFT TURN, would have helped.

  • This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.

Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.
