Carriageway falling away

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4650305.

Very large pothole to the side of the highway just past the field gate entrance on the left going along from the flash towards Elworth. This hole is getting larger by the day as large vehicles pull to the side to avoid oncoming traffic. This hole is damaging tyres and wheels of cars, the Authority should repair the highway and accept liability for the thousands of poundsworth of damage caused to vehicles. This route is continually used for diverting traffic of a quantity and weight that it was never designed/built to carry.
