Delivery lorry on pavement and double yellow lines

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4646398.

Delivery lorry for Chana Store parked on the pavement and over double yellow lines. Blocking access for pedestrians and blocking view for cars to pass. Was there for over 30 minutes.

  • Council advised parking issues can only be rectified or actioned upon if witnessed by a parking attendant, stating: “ Unfortunately we are only able to enforce if a vehicle is observed parked in contravention of the restrictions by a Civil Enforcement Officer. Yeadon is patrolled regularly and if the vehicle is observed parked in contravention of the restrictions a PCN would be issued. Thank you for contacting us.” I have never seen an officer in all the years I’ve lived there.
