Huge pothole 140mm deep, 350mm wide 1200mm long

I unfortunately hit this pothole yesterday and damaged my car so badly that I had to be recovered. It is seriously big and seriously dangerous. There are white spray lines around it that indicate the council are aware but the paint is faded and old and having spoken to local residents I understand it has been there for months.
