Large pothole estimate 3’ long & deep enough to hide the base of a cone. 4-5”

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4628325.

This pothole has been reported several times & has supposedly been inspected. I don’t think they’ve looked in the right place as there’s no way this is acceptable. Cones have been placed here causing an obstruction for several weeks & earby residents will be filling this hole themselves, if nothing is done soon.

  • Although some tarmac has been placed in the hole, there is a gap either due which will allow water ingress. I notice however, it has been remarked, so I’m hoping a proper job is on the cards.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • Hole still not fixed properly. It had some tar put in which left gaps either side, but it has been marked again for repair. How much money is wasted on pot holes?!
