Dear Sirs/ Madam
I am aware that you have chosen to leave some green areas untouched to encourage wild life on Court Road but the overgrown grass and weeds in front of my house- it is literally in-front of my hedges- are causing obstruction, encouraging people to litter and allergy issues.
People are leaving litter within the long grass and throwing rubbish. You can see some on the path too. There are very many places across Court Road where I can see that leaving it wild would encourage wild life but you should not do so when it is right in front of someone’s house and hedge. I have a 2 year old daughter who is allergic to grass pollen. Her allergy has increased since you had decided to not cut the grass in front of my house- we have a lawn in the front and back garden which we maintain well to ensure that she is ok. We alos have a lot of flowers and flowering trees that attact bees. Can you please cut the grass in front of my house in order to reduce my daughter’s expose to the pollen?
We have also seen more foxes coming to our garden and pooing since you have left the front wild. All in all- there is a limit as to what you should allow to happen for the sake of nature. We pay pur taxes. The grass has been cut in front of the BT petrol station and the block of flat when its not even right next to them but the one in front of my house has been left unattended. For the sake of my daughter’s allergy, please cut the grass that is right infront of our hedges. Maybe, cut it in such a way as to leave a little ring of wild grass around the trees, that will still allow wild life to thrive, reduce dangerous animals ( rodents and, foxes) to hide or fester in the surroundings. People needs to be protected too.

Dear Sirs/ Madam
Thank you for your email and for actioning this to an extent. I just want the grass to be maintained in a way to avoid any increased risks to my daughter’s health while observing nature’s need. The first complaint I made was about the direct impact of leaving the untamed grass section right in front of my house on my daughter’s health. There are many other sections on Court Road that have been left wild, but they are clearly not right in front of anyone’s house. Some have been cut on Court Road but are not in front of anyone’s house such as the ones in front of the big block of flats right next to M and S petrol section (not far from my house) and the grass in front of the station. As to my own issues, I have to walk through the one in front of my house twice a day on weekdays as I have to go pick up and drop off my daughter to and from nursery. My daughter then gets an allergy reaction from grass pollen around. This has never happened until the grass was left wild this year. There is a direct causal link between their choice and the degradation of my daughter’s health. If that section is maintain, I will not have to constantly give her medication to relieve her allergy. I completely appreciate the idea of promoting nature but not to the detriment of someone’s health. The photos taken by me is literally right in front of my house. The litter is just an additional issue that is caused by members of public who just chooses to litter in places that appear messy
