Uneven pavement

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 23:39, Fri 4 April 2014

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later

The pavement in Burlington Place, near the Co-op was relaid a few years ago with bricks. However, the surface now undulates so much that it makes me feel seasick walking across it. I would hate to travel across it in a pushchair or wheelchair.

  • Not likely to be fixed soon. This kind of paving is not suitable for the side of a hill riddled with springs.

  • Still a problem. The council could be sued if someone injured themselves on this uneven pavement!
