Poor catches, and closes fast - bad for horseriders

This is bridlepath NK004. The wooden person gate has multiple catches, swings quickly shut, has a kick board and is in close proximity to a bridge. These factors make it very difficult to open and close whilst on horseback.

  • Investigation: Completed (Scheduled Maintenance) - We can confirm that improvement works have been instructed for the gates at the 2 reported locations to be undertaken within the next 6 months. Please refer to Street Doctor ref no. 4623930 for further updates. Please note the this is Public Bridleway NY4 and not NK4
