This Road needs yellow lines

Sent to Cardiff Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4603869.
Is sometimes nearly impossible to pass the cars parked on the left side of this road. If a car is coming up the hill it’s normally a standoff. Emergency vehicles is just a no-go! And deliver lorries have to turn and leave delivery! An emergency occurred last night the delay in getting the fire Engine down this road was time delaying and could have caused death! Do something before someone dies! If you can’t I will get my Councillor to intervene! This was the post put on last night in The Hawthorns group!

There are a lot of cars parked where it's hard to get through I totally agree that something should be done (although the bin trucks do manage it and they're not far off a fire engine size), but just be careful what you wish for, I've known places 'get what they wanted' and end up having double yellows lines on all roads which would stop 95% of people parking on the road down here, so just be very clear what parts you are complaining about and not ALL of The Hawthorns as some parts are not effected by inconsiderate parkers. (Also to note that the fire engine didn't follow or couldn't see the signs as they came down the bottom and turned around, so if your parked Infront of a number road sign, move you car and don't be so stupid).
I would say definitely put yellow lines by signs which tell you the numbers of the houses and mirrors at the top and bottom of the hill. I know this has been requested last year by a neighbour in the hawthorns and fix my street replied to say that it wasn’t doable because you can’t judge the speed, the issue also is that there is a blind spot as you come into the hawthorns at the top that bends around to the hill and the bottom of the hill there is another blind spot. This needs to be addressed. If not, local authorities will have to get involved.
