Poorly positioned Penge Lane Street Name Plate jct Parish Lane, Penge

Reported via mobile in the Sign Missing/Damaged category anonymously at 01:48, Friday 26 May 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4598075.

Poorly positioned 'Penge Lane' Street Name Plate jct Parish Lane, Penge

The eastern name plate is useless under the railway bridge.

Please reposition at the corner of Parish Lane outside the Alexandra pub.

This is so it can actually be seen by southeast bound traffic which includes emergency services.

It may be historically the sign has been where it is (I have looked up old photos of the pub) but it is time to rectify this mistake.

There are many things in history we used to think or do that we now do differently and better.
